2009 Filly
We are thrilled with the arrival our
Angelina's first baby (at age
16), a gorgeous bay filly by the Hanoverian stallion, DeLaurentis.

Sinatra's
Songbird
(Sinatra's Song x DF
China Doll)
2009 Filly
We were blessed again with China Doll's
fabulous Mother's Day gift
to us of a big, beautiful filly, Sinatra's Songbird, by the Hanoverian
stallion, Sinatra's Song. She is possibly a rich, black bay. She is a
stunning, charismatic young lady.

Stacey Ann Monroe and her dad, Jared Monroe
of Ohio. CONGRATULATIONS she went PREMIUM at
her inspection in Kentucky. The GOV
inspector had lovely things to say about
Song. Her comments included 'lovely trot'
and 'beautiful type'....
"Hi
Deb! So where have I been!?!??! Well....lots
of work and oh yeah spending time with the
most perfect horse in the world!!! We are
having a great time. Ok, maybe I am having a
great time, not always sure about Song! Song
has been integrated into the heard and doing
very well. She has a couple of girlfriends,
a filly her age, a yearling filly and a 2
year old filly. She is in with about 10
horses and thankfully she has not had any
problems. I go and work with her everyday.
Still trail walking with the dogs and
sometimes with other horses. We have started
a little ground work. Let me see, I thought
I would take her in to the outdoor and
introduce her to a few obstacles; tires,
barrels, jumps and cars driving by. And how
long did it take us to work on all of these?
5 maybe 7 minutes! I have found one thing
that we can work on, mud and water. She is
not thrilled with puddles or the creek. Song
has begun a little in handwork as well. She
now walks, trots, halts and is learning to
standup, with voice commands as well as body
language. She just gets everything so
quickly! Her feet and weight are good. I
even think she is growing a little. We have
decided that, if there are in hand classes,
we will show her in early Jan. at a
schooling show. I will keep you posted. I
have to tell you that EVERYONE that has met
her is so impressed with her ground manners
and of course her beauty. She is still a
little stand offish with others, but I think
she is pretty happy with me. I may not be AK
yet, but I am working on it! She loves being
groomed and a little massage now and again
is a good thing too!"

Ginger's Jet
Thoroughbred mare |
IronJet is a
gorgeous hunter prospect, with a beautiful
face and delightful personality. You can
trim him by yourself with the lead rope
coiled on the ground! He jumps in the
trailer, and ponies behind the golf cart. By
IRONMAN, the number 1 Hunter breeding sire
2007, and now becoming well known for
producing outstanding hunters on the line
and under saddle....and out of a fabulous
thoroughbred mare by AP Jet (Mr.
Prospector). Sire owner states this is
fabulous colt with superb movement. Perfect
gentleman. His dam is a lovely hunter with a
great hack, (photos avail to serious buyers)
so with this kind of mom and dad, this guy
promises to be one of the best. He will melt
your heart. Now nearly black, IronJet will
eventually be a dark, steely dappled grey.
Inspector LOVED his trot, and his walk. Saw
him take 3 strides and awarded him Premium.
Jet could also do well in dressage. Eventing
anyone???
Near perfect conformation, flawless
expressive face, and a canter to die for
with a reach from here to the
moon...Inquisitive, amazing maturity and
self confidence for such a youngster (DOB
June 22), loves people totally. Has an
amateur personality w/ the talent for a
pro.. this IS a show horse w/ great
potential in hand until time for that
performance career...hard to find a quality
IRONMAN foal at this price. Price will go up
after spring shed out. Serious inquiries can
call for video and more photos.
Congrats! to Danielle Koenig of Alberta,
Canada on her purchase of IronJet! These two
are destined to make beautiful music
together on the hunter scene....A perfect
match! We'll all be watching!
"Hi Deb, Sorry I haven't been keeping in
touch as much as I promised; we had a very
busy end to the summer, but I thought
everyday that I need to let you know what a
superstar little IronJet is! You should be
very proud of how you brought up that colt!
It really is true what Bob the hauler said
about him acting like such an experienced
horse. Nothing seems to faze him at all, he
really takes everything in stride! I
consider myself very blessed to have ended
up with a horse like him at all, let alone
for such a bargain price! He is simply a joy
to be around. I've never had another horse
that compares to him - one that always tries
so hard to please, is so smart, with such
correct conformation and wonderful movement,
and such a fun personality!! I could go on
and on about all the little things that he
does to amaze me, but to sum it up, the time
I spend with him everyday is truly the
highlight of my days. I have come to just
adore him and I want to say a huge heartfelt
thank-you for producing such a horse and for
selling him to me. Sincerely, Danielle"

SOLD Slew's White Diamond
Pinto Dutch Warmblood filly
by State of the Art
Congratulations to Tammy Leighton on her purchase of this
wonderful
mare. Diamond is off to Chicago for an eventing, dressage
and trail
riding lifetime home. |
|
"I was
hoping the photos would turn out better, but at least you
can see what your girl has been up to lately. Free jumping
is her new passion. We started building a chute every
weekend with different gymnastic patterns. She's doing so
well that she decided to practice on her own, leaping out of
her paddock when her pony buddy got too pushy. She teased
the pony by grazing within eyesight. Snow has stuck around
too long for the grass to look greener on the other side, so
I think she'll stick to indoor jumping until spring. She's
been to the forest preserve a few times with her big brother
Hugo. She found the cross country jumps intriguing, as well
as the herds the deer. Her first schooling dressage show in
August was also a successful adventure. Other than one
panicked lap at the gallop around the arena when a canopy
threatened to eat her, she settled into perform a very
accurate first test, earning a 63.5% at training level. At
home, we've worked on slowly shifting her balance back,
muscling out her hind end. She actually prefers her right
lead now, and will canter from a walk both ways. She's been
such a pleasure to train, a true amateur's dream. I can't
believe how far she's come in such a short time. My trainer
was barely on her until November, when the weather started
messing up my commute from work. She really enjoys working
with Diamond, and pushes me harder with my equitation to
make Diamond's life easier. Other than an initial workup to
get her baseline evaluation, the chiropractor hasn't needed
to adjust her since. I have finally started jumping her
under saddle, and she seems to enjoy that job as well. I'm
not sure there's anything this horse wouldn't try for me.
She's had some big shoes to fill after Hugo, but she's going
to far exceed all of my expectations. I enjoy every minute I
spend with her, and look forward to many years together." |

Yearling Trakehner filly by Feuertanzer, and out of
'Classical Jazz' (A.A.)
FeuerEver is a
once in a lifetime filly. She has particularly correct legs and feet .
With her lovely disposition , attitude, and talent, she is an amateur's
dream and a professional's heaven.. She should mature between 16 -
16.1h, with incredible bone, with an elegant and modern build. and is
especially expressive and lovely.
SOLD congrats to Dr. Julie Miller of Pennsylvania on her purchase of
this wonderful mare...FeuerEver is headed for an eventing career!

Hi Deb,
Thought you might like an update... Feuerever is going
great. Although she was a little "worried" at the first few
events that we did last fall and this spring, she's turning
into quite the event horse. She's very solid walk, trot,
canter, beautiful round gaits (as you know), leg yields, is
starting to get flying changes, and is jumping 2'6" -2'9"
courses well. At four years old, she's still only 15.2 1/2,
but I
never question her athleticism. We're eventing at beginner
novice, and if she continues to go well, I may advance her
next year. You'll see in the photos that she's lightened in
color a bit, a beautiful mare. We get compliments everywhere
we go.
One it-went-wrong story... at her first hunter show, I was
tacking her and she got away from me and took off galloping.
She ran past the hunter arenas (where the show was going on)
and went straight for the cross-country course. It was not a
course we'd jumped--we had only been cross-country once
before. At a gallop, she jumped a few cross-country fences
riderless and came back and stopped so that I
could catch her. It was like she was trying to say she
wanted to event and not do hunters. She's definitely got the
desire! (We ended up showing in 3 hunter classes, taking
home a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd.)

These two are of us at South Farm in Middlefield, Ohio,
competing at beginner novice eventing. As you can see, she
is very cautious about not hitting fences, and really rounds
nicely! We were in second place after dressage, then went
clean stadium and cross-country. We were then part of a
three-way tie for first place (out of 18+ horses), which was
broken by optimum time cross-country, and since we had gone
too fast (oh, but we had fun!), we ended up a very
respectable third. It was her first time at beginner novice.
I intend to move her up to novice eventing this spring.
